I have had a lifelong interest in photography and scuba diving, getting my first camera at the age of 10, and learning to scuba dive at the age of 16.
I trained as a photographer at the RAAF East Sale School of Photography in 2001, which was one of the most amazing courses I’ve ever had the privilege of doing. I was fortunate enough to have Steve Given OAM as one of the chief instructors, who was a master of large format photography and dark-room techniques.
I worked as a military photographer until 2009. During that time, I furthered my interest in underwater photography. Despite leaving the military to pursue a medical career, I continue to nurture my interest in photography.
Due to my geographical location, I am now actively shooting panoramic landscapes, as well developing skills in Milky Way and moon photography. I currently use a Nikon D850 with 16-35mm and 80-400mm lenses as my main equipment.
